Programs + Services
Counselling Services
Stonecross Retreat offers both outpatient and residential counseling services. Our counseling, including specialized options like equine assisted psychotherapy, is most successful for individuals who are both willing and wanting change. The initial session (first 30 minutes) of your counseling is FREE - after that point, the fee is $180.00/hr., with a one-hour minimum, making it an excellent choice for those seeking life stress reduction.
Life Stress Reduction & Traumatic Incident Reduction
Our counseling services focus on life stress reduction and traumatic incident reduction, requiring a minimum of 6 sessions if a full assessment is requested. The first session involves a complete interview, along with the development of an Interest and Distress List and goal-setting. This initial process typically lasts about 2.5 to 3 hours, and the fee for this interview session is a set price of $400.00 for up to 4 hours. This crucial step in our equine assisted psychotherapy approach is essential for both decreasing and eliminating negative experiences.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy & Equine Assisted Learning
Our counseling services offer an Individual Session for $150.00 for a 1-hour session, or you can opt for a package of 5 sessions for $700.00. For Group EAP & EAL, these must be purchased in packages of 5 sessions. The cost for Group EAP & EAL is $120.00 for the first participant, with an additional $50.00 for each additional participant, accommodating up to 6 participants, and is billed at $300.00 per hour. Additionally, for Teambuilding, Communication, Brainstorming Days, and other performance enhancing activities, we provide a customized contract tailored to your group's needs. Our equine assisted psychotherapy is particularly effective for life stress reduction.
Trainings/Conferences
Off-site Location: will be a minimum of two days (one facilitator) - $1500/day plus Expenses and GST. Group Trainings, which include counseling services for life stress reduction, are available for Groups of up to 10 participants for up to 8 hour days. Onsite location is: $1500/day plus GST, and can also incorporate equine assisted psychotherapy as part of the training.
